Dear Residents

The Renewal Construction team started the renovation of Union 166. We are committed to improving the safety and quality of your home. We appreciate your patience throughout this process and encourage your feedback. We want to publicly thank those who have given us feedback. We cannot do this work without your collaboration.

If you have any construction-related questions or concerns, please feel free to call, text, email us or visit us at our office located at 845 Cauldwell Ave. Our doors are open Monday through Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm, and our contact information is located below.

So far we have achieved the following:

  1. Our hospitality unit at 1135 Prospect Ave Apt.3B is ready for your use. This dedicated space is designed for residents who prefer not to stay in their apartments during the day while construction is being done in your apartment. Give us a call if you want to learn more.
  2. We have replaced the equipment responsible for shutting off water in apartments. This enhancement will enable us to better maintain and regulate water flow, ensuring more reliable service in the building.
  3. We have replaced radiators and heating risers in most of your apartments. If we have not been able to access your apartment, please call us, and we will schedule an appointment to complete the work.
  4. We’ve completed replacing lights, switches, and outlets in most of your apartments. If we have not been able to access your apartment, please call us, and we will schedule an appointment to complete the work.
  5. We have completed replacing windows in most of your apartments. If we have not been able to access your apartment, please call us, and we will schedule an appointment to complete the work.
  6. We have completed bathroom renovations in most apartments. This renovation includes new bathroom tile, toilets, tubs, tub surrounds, vanities, sinks, medicine cabinets, shower rods, towel bars, toilet paper holders, showerheads, and controls. If we have not been able to access your apartment, please call us, and we will schedule an appointment to complete the work.
  7. We have completed the wiring installation for the internet in most apartments. If we have not been able to access your apartment, please call us, and we will schedule an appointment to complete the work. Once the connection is LIVE we will send an information pamphlet with details and instructions for you to connect.
  8. We have scheduled all apartments to receive new vents. As part of our work we have cleaned and sealed inside your vents. The tenant notices will be distributed according to appointment dates. Please call us if there’s any inconvenience.
  9. We have completed fencing in the yard space.

In the next 30 days we will be working on:

  1. Our boiler replacement will occur in three phases, this month we will begin phase one. In Phase one we will be installing temporary boilers. We will be sending you water and heat shut off notices for the week of March 11. This shut off will begin at
  2. On March 25th gas risers will be replaced in Union Ave in buildings (1104 Union Ave, 1102 Union Ave 1100 Union Ave, 1098 Union Ave, and 1096 Union Ave ). The gas work will take about 16 weeks, during these 16 weeks we we will remove the existing Gas Riser and install a new one. We will send a notice for resident to insure access is granted for installment and inspection if the date on the notice is inconvenient, please call us to re-schedule. Tenants who reside in these addresses will receive hot plates from Progressive Management. If you have yet to receive a hot plate please call the office at 516-879-3001.
  3. We have scheduled all apartments to receive new vents. As part of our work we have cleaned and sealed inside your vents. The tenant notices will be distributed according to appointment dates. Please call us if there’s any inconvenience.

El equipo de Renewal Construction inició la renovación de Union 166. Estamos comprometidos a mejorar la seguridad y calidad de su hogar. Agradecemos su paciencia durante todo este proceso y alentamos sus comentarios. Queremos agradecer públicamente a quienes nos han dado su opinión. No podemos hacer este trabajo sin su colaboración.

Hemos logrado lo siguiente:

  6. Hemos completado renovaciones de baños en la mayoría de los apartamentos. Esta renovación incluye nuevos azulejos de baño, inodoros, bañeras, bordes de bañeras, tocadores, lavabos, botiquines, barras para ducha, toalleros, portarrollos, cabezales de ducha y controles. Si no hemos podido acceder a su apartamento, llámenos y programaremos una cita para completar el trabajo.
  7. Hemos completado la instalación del cableado para internet en la mayoría de los apartamentos. Si no hemos podido acceder a su apartamento, llámenos y programaremos una cita para completar el trabajo. Una vez que la conexión esté EN VIVO, le enviaremos un folleto informativo con detalles e instrucciones para que se conecte.
  8. Hemos programado todos los apartamentos para recibir nuevos respiraderos. Como parte de nuestro trabajo hemos limpiado y sellado el interior de sus respiraderos. Los avisos para inquilinos se distribuirán según las fechas de cita. Llámenos si hay algún inconveniente.
  9. Hemos completado el cercado en el espacio del patio.

En los próximos 30 days vas avernos trabajando en:

  1. Nuestro reemplazo de caldera se realizará en tres fases, este mes comenzaremos la fase uno. En la Fase uno instalaremos calderas temporales. Le enviaremos avisos de corte de agua y calefacción para la semana del 11 de marzo. Este corte comenzará a las 9:00 a. m. y debería reanudarse a las 5:00 a.m.
  2. El 25 de marzo se reemplazarán los elevadores de gas en Union Ave en los edificios (1104 Union Ave, 1102 Union Ave, 1100 Union Ave, 1098 Union Ave y 1096 Union Ave). El trabajo de gas durará aproximadamente 16 semanas, durante estas 16 semanas retiraremos el tubo ascendente de gas existente e instalaremos uno nuevo. Enviaremos un aviso al residente para asegurarnos de que se le conceda acceso para el pago y la inspección. Si la fecha indicada en el aviso no es conveniente, llámenos para reprogramar.
